University Hospitals Bristol and Weston Foundation Trust had previously adopted the prescription tracking and ordering system Web Tracker. Following a General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) inspection in 2017 the trust concluded a solution for their controlled drug ordering was required. Following contact with Promatica Digital, it was concluded that the Promatica Digital CD ordering system could be implemented within Web Tracker and allowed for a fitting change from a paper-based to a digital system.
